The EA SPORTS™ Challenge Series, exclusive to Sony PlayStation, was a multi-faceted campaign that allowed players to face-off against each other for cash and prizes in titles like Madden NFL 12, NHL® 12 and FIFA 12. Powered by Virgin Gaming, this was the only program sanctioned by EA SPORTS™ for cash play tournaments. Technology developed by both EA SPORTS™ and Virgin Gaming provided users with game results in minutes. These automatic reports gave competitive players of all skill levels a seamless user experience from start to finish. The competition finals boasted one of the largest prize pools in gaming history, with over a $1 million in cash and prizes.
This campaign involved brand creation (logo development, image creation and overall visuals), micro -site development, email, banner ads, broadcast and print collateral for all brand partners including EA SPORTS™, Sony PlayStation Canada/ US, Game Stop, NOZ Energy Drink and Virgin Gaming.
